MEET THE MAN BEHIND THE MEALS - Rudy's Vegan
Like a moth to the flame, Matthew was drawn to working in the kitchen at the young age of 14. Before his 20th birthday, he became a Chef de Partie at the 5* Pan Pacific hotel, in Singapore.

But like any chef worth their salt, Matthew was always hungry to explore different cuisines and cultures. He quickly started travelling the world, experimenting with every kind of food and kitchen environment you can imagine.

From contemporary cuisines, to pub grub, and fine dining establishments… you name it, he’s probably done it. He’s even catered for a private party for the Prince Albert of Monaco.

His wide range of experiences, passion and creativity made him into the chef he was. But it was his curiosity, open-mindedness and love for animals that made him the chef he is today.

After being invited to several slaughterhouse vigils and speaking with vegan activists about the farming industry, his eyes were open and his mind was full of inspiration.

Using his decades of experience in the catering industry, Matthew began vagainsing his favourite meals - testing, experimenting and redefining the boundaries of plant-based food. His passion for all living creatures and his knowledge and skills can be felt with every bite of his food.
